Chet Baker in Tenderly. Baker had enormous talent. His trumpet had a unique mellow sound. It didn't heart that he also sang very well. He was one of the best jazz players of his generation. It's hard to imagine what he could have accomplish if drugs had not destroyed him. Like others who shared the same addiction such as Billy Holiday or Charlie Parker he lived a tortured life and aged prematurely.
